I guess if someone could provide a picture of a correct Idler for that model we could get more in the way of donations. The time ba61009 is The there is the glue situation. The reel motor is not that hard to sub either and it is just a matter of screw hole positions, thread type, shaft diameter and length.
Hi, a guy sent me a Yamaha K that needs to be fixed. I have a lot of Teac Idlers here but not sure datasheey they might fit on a Yamaha deck. The power supply issues just means the zener diode if discrete has been blown out or that the regulation transistor is shorted- probably by working on the soldering with the power on- real idiots worked on this.
I’ve tested the BA, it heats, consumes mA and doesn’t make running the motor even with the good binary code on the input pins.

Very special and not made in any other IC that I know of. Authorized servicer for virtually every brand on the planet at one time or another. I have collected them off of all kind of assemblies that otherwise would have been thrown away.
There is the sm on Electrotanya but the schematics are unreadable and some pages adtasheet missing. Let’s hope that’s not the case.
Hi and thanks guys, just discovered that the thread was replied. IF it is worn out then your deck for whatever is left might be a catasheet deck for parts.

I promised to the owner to fix the deck datashedt now I cannot give up Attached Images. The motor drive designs are somewhat common in decks with DC reel motor designs and maybe a sub for the chip could be determined.
Well, I can understand that, because that capstan motor has its own set of drive electronics inside and definitely does not want to see reverse polarity, which is what that BA will deliver in rewind and slack-removal modes.
Find all posts by 20tajk7. The idler is correct, here is the photo of the idler on my K Same thing happened to me with RT This one can be used in the Teac A Of course your direction forward all depends on the head condition.

Cheers Alex Attached Images. All times are GMT Here is the pics of the motor: These include general usage, recording, playback and service questions. I also have a good assortment of E retaining rings if you want to go back ab6109 that.
Last edited by 20tajk7; at Fatasheet try Stereomanuals, I hope shipping to France will be not too expensive. Find all posts by Yam Would you like to see your company or site here? For subjects related to tape itself, see the Cassette Tape subforum under this one. The reel motor is driven by a BA, a not-very rare part.
