Now I’ve spent $ Mar 29, As Visioneer is so proprietary, and I am not using it anymore, I would like to convert all my Paperport files to anything else with which I could. Has anybody roduced a simple converter that will change *.max files into *.jpeg or indeed any format? Are you talking about the files/images created by PaperPort? I don’t know It accomplishes it in a 3 step batch process.

I have a number of scanned reference letters from my business that I previously scanned with a Visioneer scanner in Paperport 7. Hey had the same problem because I’m using Win Vista and I have alot of max file on disk that have yet to be converted and I’m on my laptop and did not want to go to my desktop and convert them them have to email them, this way your way was much easier and it works great with the Vista snipping tool.
I bought this Dell Studio 3 years ago and installed the Paperport Viewer that I believe is not available as a viewer only utility now.

Jpeg files — still presents issue that conversion is one-by-one but it works. I’d prefer something that batch converts — but if I can get a utility that will even allow one conversion, I could probably figure out how to use AutoHotkey or something like that to automate.
